Inducted March 11th, 1941 as EM at Camp Edwards, Mass. and Ft. Devens, Mass.; commissioned 2nd Lt., Mar. 12th, '42. Assigned to 76th Div., May 23rd, '42; became Platoon Leader in Co. H, 304th Inf. Commissioned 1st Lt., Aug. '42. In Dec. '42 became Asst. Regtl. Adj. under Capt. W. D. Covington. Became Adjutant in Feb. '43, upon transfer of Capt. Covington to Div. Hq. Promoted to Capt., Jan. '44. Single. Religion: Catholic. Hobby: Art. Postwar plans. Resume commercial art.

Regimental S-2 since Ft. Geo. G. Meade. Born, Indianapolis; De Pauw Univ., Univ. of Indiana; Law Degree. Deputy prosecutor in State of Ind. Inducted as a Pvt., Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Feb. 3rd, 1941; from there to Ft. Custer, 21st F. A. Approx. Mar. 15th, 1941 to G-2 Section, 5th Inf. Div.; became Sgt.; May 15th, 1942 comm. 2nd Lt., Inf., O. C. S., Ft. Benning; assigned 304th Inf., S-2 officer 1st Bn. Earmarked for Intelligence work, rapidly rose to Regimental S-2; comm. Maj. in France, Jan. '45. From time he was 2nd Lt. (except three month period from June to Aug. '44) has been Regimental S-2 officer. Single. Protestant. Masonic Lodge, Delta Tau Delta. Hobbies: Golf, swimming, baseball, football. Postwar plans: Return to the Bar.

Born at Lincoln, Neb.; home, Nelson, Mo. Univ. of Missouri. Commissioned 2nd Lt., Nov. 1st, 1941. In civilian life, C.C.C. Co. Commander. Ordered to active service at Ft. Geo. G. Meade, May 9th, 1942 as 1st Lt. May 15th assigned to 1st Bn. of 304th Inf. July '42 was CO of 1st Bn. Hq. Co. Commissioned Capt. in Aug. '42. Attended Officers Advanced Infantry School at Ft. Benning. In latter part of '43 and early '44 acted as Asst. S-3 under Maj. Barber. In late June '44 became S-3. In Aug. '44 was commissioned Major. Married: I child. Protestant. Hobbies: Human nature, philosophy, literature. Postwar plans: Business.

MAJOR KENNETH L. TINGLEY, O. R. C.
Home, Plymouth, Mass; Boston Univ. Commissioned 2nd Lt., June '37. Commissioned 1st Lt., '40. Civilian Occupation, efficiency expert, 2nd Asst. Supt. Tube Mill. Scovill Mfg. Co., Waterbury, Conn. Ordered into active service Feb. 11th, 1942. Stationed Ft. Geo. G. Meade with 76th Div. May of same year, assigned to 304th Inf. Regt. Commissioned Capt., Sept. '42; Dec. of same year was with Service Co. and for a short while was acting S-4. Commanded Co. B. Attended Advanced Infantry Officers School at Ft. Benning. Returned to command of Co. B. Transferred to Service Co. as CO in June '44, simultaneously working in the Regtl. S-4 section. Became Regtl. S-4, France, Jan. '45. Commissioned Major, Germany, Apr. '45. Married: I child. Protestant. Hobbies: Social Relations. Postwar plans: Return to business.
